Map4 Client Signs Five-Year Agreement with Uniti Wholesale

Tahoe Network Infrastructure executes a five-year Master Agreement and Wavelength Service Addendum with Uniti Dark Fiber LLC, expanding high-capacity transport options for E-Rate and private fiber WAN delivery

PUNTA GORDA, Fla. – September 24, 2026 – Map4.net today announced that its client Tahoe Network Infrastructure LLC has signed a five-year Master Agreement with Uniti Dark Fiber LLC, operating as Uniti Wholesale. The agreement establishes a contracted wholesale framework under which Tahoe may order high-capacity wavelength services on Uniti’s national fiber network.

Tahoe executed the Master Agreement and accompanied Wavelength Service Addendum on September 18, 2026. The Master Agreement carries a five-year initial term and continues in 60-day renewal periods unless cancelled on 60 days’ written notice. Individual services are ordered under separate service orders, with a default service term of one year unless otherwise specified.

The Wavelength Service Addendum covers transparent, unprotected wavelength service at 10 Gbps, 100 Gbps, 400 Gbps, and 800 Gbps between designated demarcation points. Uniti’s wavelength SLA targets 99.9 percent availability. The addendum does not include colocation or regeneration space; Tahoe remains responsible for connecting at the handoff and for obtaining any customer-side rights needed to use the service.

The wholesale arrangement gives Tahoe a multi-year path to light long-haul and metro wavelengths as it designs and operates open-access private fiber WANs for school districts, libraries, municipalities, carriers, and enterprises—particularly in communities of 100,000 or fewer, where Category 1 E-Rate projects are a core focus.

“A five-year wholesale agreement with Uniti gives Tahoe the transport backbone it needs to scale private fiber and E-Rate delivery without building every long-haul mile itself,” said Chris Nunez, founder of Map4.net and Technology Services Advisor at Santo Electronics. “For Map4 clients competing on school and library connectivity, access to national 100G- and 400G-class wavelengths is a practical advantage—faster turn-up, cleaner SLAs, and more options when middle-mile and special-construction routes have to connect.”

Map4 provides live search of current and historical USAC filings, automated funding-request estimates, Category 1 and Category 2 budget visibility, and a proprietary ROI calculator tailored to fiber and special-construction scenarios. Clients also receive consulting support for RFP strategy, competitive positioning, and compliance guidance.
